Thomas Loew
Thomas Loew (*1964) is a graduate in business
administration (Dipl. Kfm.) From 1993 until 2004 he was senior
researcher at the Institute for Ecological Economy Research
(IÖW), Berlin.
In 2005 he founded the Institute 4 Sustainability
which is also based in Berlin.
Mr. Loew has worked in more then 35 research
projects on environmental management, environmental accounting,
performance indicators, sustainability reporting, corporate
social responsibility (CSR) socially responsible investment
(SRI) and recently sustainable corporate governance and CSR
in the supply chain. Many projects were carried out in co-operation
with pilot companies.
He was a member of the German mirror group to
ISO TC 207 SC 4 (environmental performance evaluation, ISO
14031) from 1998-2002. For more than 3 years, he has lectured
in environmental management at several universities in Berlin.

Friederike Rohde is a graduate in sociology with focus on technology studies (Dipl. soz. tech.). During her academic studies and interships she worked on several CSR related topics.
